Don founded Shasta QA in 2002. After spending ten years working at software companies in the San Francisco Bay Area – mostly in quality assurance roles – Don relocated his family 200 miles north where he and his wife Michelle could raise their five children in a close-knit, rural community. Previously, Don was a QA Director at Geoworks (think operating systems, smartphones, PDAs) and CommerceOne (B2B e-commerce). By tapping into his passion for building elite QA teams and running well-managed projects, and by leveraging his experience working with large companies and teams both nationally and internationally, Don created Shasta QA’s cut-above testing methodologies. In addition to providing a work environment where his team and clients can succeed, Don strives to promote rural American job growth.

Chris’ more than 10 years in Engineering spans both in the trenches programming and high-level leadership. His talent lies in high-level architecture and implementation of automation systems on multiple web-based platforms. His ability to guide clients from start to finish and supplement existing plans has contributed to the high level of confidence that we have achieved from our clients, often leading to word of mouth extensions to new clients. He studied Computer Science at CSU Chico and enjoys exploring Lake Tahoe, camping, and tinkering with robots with his sons.

Anna Henderson
President

Anna has spent her career focusing on quality assurance in a number of fields from localization to publishing to software. She got her start in the translation/localization world in Paris where she worked with clients such as Google, the European Union, Alcatel Lucent, Kodak, and EADS. The last five years she has worked with big-name clients in the Silicon Valley helping them set up blackbox and whitebox testing frameworks in industries ranging from social media, finance, mobile security, Internet marketing, and backend payment processing systems. She has a B.A in French and Computer Science, and a Master’s Degree in Translation and Localization. In her spare time, she enjoys traveling, being outdoors, and playing in her local orchestra.
